Presentation: « Music recorded during 1971-1973, with guest musicians Hadley Caliman on Saxophone & Flute, Julia & Maxine Waters & Kenneth Nash (The Pyramids, Herbie Hancock, Julian Priester). These sessions are pure Psychedelia with a Soulful Jazz sound. ‘Dark Angels’ is a beautiful and haunting Soulful Jazz piece featuring lush vocals by the Waters Sisters. ‘The Massage’ and ‘Strength’ have a hard hitting Psychedelic Funk sound, ‘This Is The Struggle’ and ‘Civilization’ conveying a universal message for hope and unity. The music is experimental and loose yet focused, reminiscent of the Strata East & Black Jazz recordings of the era. The third chapter of HE3 Project once again reflects the brilliance of songwriter Herman Eberitzsch. Songs created during a musical renaissance in San Francisco,left in a basement for 40 years, now fully realized. »
